Location: London and Kent (Various Locations)
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, Day Shifts

Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable HGV Tipper Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in transporting aggregate materials from quarries and builders' merchants to our customers' locations. You will be responsible for ensuring timely and safe deliveries while adhering to all road safety regulations and company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate HGV tipper vehicles to transport aggregate materials to customer sites.
  • Load and unload materials at quarries, merchants, and delivery locations using tipper mechanisms.
  • Conduct daily vehicle checks and ensure the truck is in good working condition.
  • Follow planned delivery schedules and routes to meet customer deadlines.
  • Comply with all traffic laws, health and safety guidelines, and company policies.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including paperwork and delivery notes.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch teams and customers to address delivery requirements.
  • Report any vehicle issues, accidents, or delays promptly to management.

Requirements:

  • Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) or Class 1 (Category C+E) license with relevant CPC qualifications.
  • Proven experience operating HGV tipper vehicles (preferred).
  • Good understanding of road safety regulations and traffic laws.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Physical fitness to handle loading/unloading activities and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
  • Knowledge of London and Kent road networks is advantageous.
