Were seeking a Programme Officer to make sure the WMIZ programme runs smoothly. In this role, youll contribute to every stage of programmes ongoing development and delivery, ensuring they meet time, budget, and quality standards. Youll also play a critical role in preparing reports, promoting the WMIZ and liaising with our partners and stakeholders.
What you will be doing.
  • Supporting the end-to-end delivery of projects, ensuring they align with strategic priorities.
  • Preparing andsubmittingdocumentation for internal and external assurance processes.
  • Gathering andanalysingdata to support reporting.
  • Ensuring compliance with funding requirements and validating expenditure.
  • Monitoring wider policy opportunities and reporting on these to the WMIZ team.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders ensuring they feel fully engaged in the programme and are ableto makea tangible impact.
  • Liaising effectively with Comms teams (internally and externally) toidentifyappropriate opportunitiesfor WMIZ promotion and messaging.
Whats essential.
  • Proven experience supporting and coordinatingprogrammesor projects.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with a collaborative approach.
  • Knowledge of governmentpolicy and/orfunding streams, particularly inareas such asskills, employment, and economic development.
  • Advancedproficiencyin MS Office, including Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Excellentorganisationaland analytical skills, with a strong eye for detail.
  • A proactive attitude and the ability to manage competing priorities under pressure.
  • Experience in reporting, data analysis, and creating detailed project documentation.

The location for this role is Summer Lane, Birmingham It is expected that you can split your time between the office and working remotely, with at least 2 days a week spent in the office. Please note, this is the minimum expectation.
