Commercial Counsel - Software Company

A software company with offices in Houston's energy corridor is seeking a mid-level attorney to support its operations internationally. The company provides software and other services to the oil and gas exploration industry. This attorney will report to the General Counsel and focus primarily on commercial contracts, software licensing, data privacy, data security and, to a lesser extent, corporate matters, I.P., compliance, and managing outside counsel. This is an in-office role three days a week with the ability to work remotely the other two. Qualified candidates will either have prior experience with software contracts or in the upstream oil and gas sector. Base pay will be in the mid-100s with bonus and full benefits.
