Public Protection Solicitor

We are working with a Local Authority in the Berkshire Region looking for a Public Protection Locum Solicitor to join their Shared Service for a 3-month period.

The successful candidate must be UK qualified and have upwards of 12 months’ experience in dealing with the following:

• Licensing, environmental law and regulatory matters


• Providing case management support to the Shared Service


• Attending court when necessary on behalf of parties

You will need to have experience of handling your own legal caseload. Previous Public Protection legal experience in a local authority is essential.

Pay rate is between £45-55 per hour.

The council offer a hybrid working environment. This is a full-time position.

The local authority is looking for a candidate to start as soon as possible. Due to the urgent nature of the role, we are looking to speak to candidates available on no more than 2 weeks’ notice.
