With access to to HVAC manufacturer partners and the innovative, energy-efficient control solution, the HVAC Sales Manager will be able to offer a unique industry proposition that future-proofs clients' equipment, environment, and energy consumption.
To expand the HVAC project sales revenue stream, this role focuses on selling a range of HVAC solutions, including heating systems, boilers, space heating, electric heating, heat pumps, AC, and cooling equipment. The role involves building new business opportunities, nurturing relationships with existing customers to ensure ongoing revenue from each account and leveraging your pre-existing customer relationships to sell our control solution.
The role will also consist of building and maintaining relationships with contractors and installers, working closely with our manufacturer partners to specify and quote HVAC solutions. Additionally, you will assist with project management from the pre-sale and quotation stages to order acceptance.
Main Responsibilities- HVAC Sales Manager;
- Identify and pursue new HVAC business opportunities within the commercial and industrial sectors.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships to understand their needs and provide tailored HVAC and control solutions.
- Leverage existing customer relationships to promote and sell our control solutions.
- Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations to key decision-makers, highlighting the benefits of our HVAC and control offering.
- Specify energy-efficient HVAC solutions and create business cases that demonstrate a clear return on investment for clients.
- Organise and attend site surveys, developing detailed quotes and proposals as needed.
- Participate in on-site meetings with partners and clients to ensure alignment and satisfaction.
- Identify, develop, and grow relationships with contractors and installers, securing installation and labour quotations.
- Foster referral partnerships with contractors and installers to expand business opportunities.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.
- Provide technical support using appropriate vendor tools and resources.
- Securing orders and developing enquiries.
- Collecting and reporting industry knowledge and competitor analysis.
- Plan and manage projects, ensuring they are completed on schedule and within budget.
- Monitor projects from initiation through to completion, ensuring they meet customer requirements and specifications.
- Manage and mitigate project-level risks effectively.
- Liaise with partners and end-users post-installation to ensure satisfaction and address any issues.
- Distribute new product and vendor updates both internally and externally.
- Utilise the CRM system to track sales activities and monitor the progression of opportunities.
- Collaborate with the wider sales team to achieve overall revenue targets.
- Manage and oversee your sales pipeline from initial contact through to project completion.
- Assist the sales team with technical queries and inquiries as needed.
Essential HVAC Sales Manager;
- Development of customer relationships in a B2B environment
- Proven track record in a pre/post-sales role within the HVAC industry (circa 10 years)
- Sub-contractor/installer knowledge
- Knowledge of the HVAC industry
- Technical knowledge of a variety of HVAC solutions (Predominately heating and cooling).
- Experience in selling commercial/industrial HVAC solutions/heating systems to end users and contractors.
- Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical audiences.
- Demonstrable track record of achieving sales targets and or/budgets.
Desired- HVAC Sales Manager.
- Experience in onsite troubleshooting
- Knowledge and experience of design and implementation of Energy Management Control Systems/Control systems.
- Ability to use all Microsoft Office package tools, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
