Classroom Teachers Ltd are proud to be working closely with an SEN school based in Surrey to supply home tutors to students that, for a variety of reasons, are not currently attending school.

The Senior Leadership team are currently looking to recruit a number of tutors to work between 4 and 15 hours a week with students. The positions are to start ASAP on an on-going basis.

The tutoring will cover English and Maths and occasionally Science. Most students are not at GCSE level yet but some will be. Full schemes of work will be provided by the school for the successful teachers.

Hours are generally set each day (tutor and parent decide this), and depending on the student the hours can be between 2-3hrs each day.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• SEN Home Tutor - Surrey based
• Up to £35.68ph
• Starting ASAP - Long-term contracts
• Teaching secondary children with SEN on 1:1 basis at home. Parent/Guardian are always present
• Full access to the schools schemes of work and support from the SEND Co at the school
• Providing a stimulating & enjoyable learning environment
• Providing 1:1 sessions teaching English, Maths and Science if applicable.
• Half termly - report writing

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

• Qualified Teacher
• Previous SEN experience or advanced understanding of SEN
• You must be passionate, enthusiastic and caring towards children
• Able to engage students in their own homes
• Able to communicate with parents/guardians
• Able to inspiring young adults
• Able to travel to and around Surrey
