Litigation Solicitor

Overview:

We are recruiting for an experienced general litigation solicitor to join a historic high street firm in Dorking. There may be some travel to the London office. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled solicitor to work independently, while benefiting from the support of the wider litigation team in London.

Role Requirements:

Experience:

• At least 3 years’ experience in general litigation, including contract disputes, shareholder & director disputes, boundary & land disputes and consumer disputes
• Ability to handle a varied caseload independently with minimal supervision
• Experience in business development and growing a practice would be a plus
• A following of clients would be advantageous but not essential

Skills:

• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Solid understanding of general civil litigation processes and relevant laws
