Site Lead- exciting SaaS US start up Ocho is delighted to be working on behalf of an exciting US tech start-up to find a dynamic and experienced Site Lead to head their new office in Belfast. This mission-critical role involves building and scaling the Belfast-based tech team, integrating with stateside operations, and ensuring alignment with overarching business objectives. Our client provides an innovative cloud-based platform designed to enhance efficiency for businesses using accountancy software. Their solution integrates seamlessly with leading platforms, automating key tasks such as invoicing, payment collection, and reconciliation. By simplifying these processes, it helps businesses save time, reduce errors, and improve cash flow management. Established over 5 years ago the company has rapidly grown, earning recognition for its technology-driven approach and commitment to simplifying financial operations for businesses of all sizes. Responsibilities: Build and scale the Belfast-based tech team by recruiting, hiring, and leading managers for software development, technology operations, and tech support teams. Collaborate with team managers to support team growth, including hiring, training, and performance management. Take ownership of the operational success of the Belfast office across development, support, and operations teams. Handle reporting, team performance metrics, and escalations for Belfast operations, ensuring transparency and accountability. Act as the primary liaison between the Belfast office and the U.S. headquarters, ensuring alignment with company goals. Foster seamless communication and collaboration across teams in different time zones. Champion company culture while adapting to the local Belfast tech scene, promoting a positive and engaging work environment. Develop strategies for team development and operational efficiency, leveraging best practices from the tech industry. Ideal candidate The ideal candidate will be a seasoned leader with a proven track record of scaling teams in high-growth environments. Youll interpret and prioritize business objectives to deliver consistent results and play a vital role in the companys continued expansion. Qualifications: Proven leader with 10+ years of experience managingsoftware development, technology operations, and tech support teams in high-growth environments. At least 7 years in a senior leadership role, with a strong track record of scaling teams and operations in SaaS or technology companies. Strong understanding of software development processes and operational technology in SaaS businesses. Excellent communicator with the ability to work across time zones and departments. Experience in building and leading distributed teams while maintaining alignment on objectives and company culture. A strategic mindset to understand the entire business model and effectively interpret and prioritize objectives. Leadership and facilitation skills paired with deep technical expertise to engage and support technical managers. Why Join?
