Customs Clearance Clerk

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Customs Clearance Clerkto join our dynamic team in Dover. As a Customs Clearance Clerk, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth customs clearance for our import and export operations.

This role is temporary, covering maternity leave.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurate and timely completion of import and export customs declarations.
• Assistance with customs paperwork as required.
• Support with other operational duties within the office.
• Adherence to customs procedures and principles

What we are looking for:

• At least 1 years experience required for the customs role
• Proficient with customs clearance software
• Good knowledge of customs procedures and principles
• Good understanding of Excel spreadsheets
• IT Literate
• Must be able to meet deadlines
• Be conscientious and have attention to details
• Be able to be part of a team
• Must be able to identify and report problems
• Communicate politely and efficiently with clients and internal staff
