BIM Co-Ordinator

Responsibilities: Develop/update, implement and maintain BIM workflow, protocols and standards within the MEP BIM Team Liaise and coordinate with other BIM Coordinators, internal delivery teams and external design teams Manage Revit project production and contents as well creation and maintenance of standard library objects Production of construction level drawing information for use on live sites Ensure Dowds Group procedures, standards and workflows are applied and communicated to the project teams Act as BIM Coordinator (MEP Engineering) for major projects Provide day-to-day BIM technical support to delivery teams Ability to travel to live sites to carry out 3D scanning duties Surveying of work in progress MEP installations on live sites Provide training to other staff on relevant BIM technologies Required Qualities and Skills: Able to demonstrate the ability to undertake the above responsibilities Ideally have a minimum of 2 years experience working as a CAD/Revit Technician for Building Services on medium/large scale projects in Autodesk Revit In-depth knowledge of Autodesk Revit and Navisworks, with experience of creating search sets, running clash detection and producing clash reports.
