About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Site Manager or Assistant Site Manager to join our dynamic team on an exciting commercial project in Birmingham. Whether youre an experienced Site Manager or looking to be an Assistant Site Manager, we want to hear from you. Youll play a critical role in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Overseeing or assisting in the daily management of on-site operations.
• Coordinating subcontractors and trades to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of work.
• Monitoring project progress and resolving issues to avoid delays.
• Ensuring strict adherence to health and safety regulations.
• Managing material deliveries, inventory, and site documentation.
• Conducting regular site inspections and maintaining quality control.
• Liaising with clients, suppliers, and other key stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery.

About You:
The ideal candidate for the site manager/assistant will have a solid background in construction and a passion for delivering excellence. Key skills and qualifications include:

• Proven experience as a Site Manager or Assistant Site Manager in construction.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes and health & safety regulations.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Relevant qualifications, e.g., NVQ, HNC, or degree in construction management.
• SMSTS and First Aid.
