Primary Purpose

PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION

Support the execution of quality assurance programs, plans, procedures, and guidelines for Asset Records Management. Collaborate with employees and contractors to ensure the achievement of business goals and objectives. Foster an environment that promotes high productivity and implements processes to apply suitable criteria during monitoring for consistency. Assist in the training and development of employees through classroom and online training, guided by patterns and themes identified through Quality Analysis.

This role may require extended hours, including 24 x 7 coverage during storms or other energy delivery emergencies.

Primary Duties

PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

Support the execution of quality assurance programs, plans, procedures, and guidelines. Collaborate with employees and contractors to ensure the achievement of business goals and objectives. Foster an environment that promotes high productivity and implement processes to apply suitable criteria during monitoring for consistency. This role may require extended hours, including 24 x 7 coverage during storms or other energy delivery emergencies.

Assist in the training and development of employees through classroom and online training, guided by patterns and themes identified through Quality Analysis.

Participate in the development and implementation of Asset Records Management Quality Controls and Training. Align with business initiatives for internal and external stakeholders and contribute to strategic initiatives to ensure high levels of customer service, supporting BGE reliability and customer satisfaction goals.

Support the effectiveness of quality assurance programs by completing observations and audits, identifying trends and issues, and contributing to strategic training and qualification plans.

Assist the QA/QC team by maintaining a productive work environment and collaborating on business initiatives. Work with other BGE departments to address quality issues.

Maintain technical knowledge and business acumen within your discipline or function to support the team effectively.

Provide support to Sr. QA Control Specialists and Project Managers for presentations and forms required for project authorization.

Minimum Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

High School Degree or GED.

Excellent oral and written skills.

Ability to interact with all levels of Energy Delivery organization.

Proven ability to resolve issues independently.

Demonstrated analytical skills.

Ability to develop performance indicators and perform appropriate analysis.

Computer literacy, particularly in PC-based business software.

Ability to lead others.

Preferred Qualifications

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

One (1) year experience in Quality Assurance / Quality Control preferred

Demonstrated experience in facilitating training and Quality assurance programs

Experience in reading and interpreting Gas and Electric technical drawings

Experience using GE Smallworld, Asset Suite 8, CC&B and other BGE enterprise applications.

Annual salary will vary based on a candidate's skills, qualifications, experience, and other factors:USD $70,400.00/Yr. - USD $105,600.00/Yr.
