Job DetailsSeeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to work with a multidisciplinary team to plan for patient care in the operating room in a timely manner.Communicate and coordinate operating room activities to facilitate efficiency in the surgical case progression and turnover between cases.Implement safe, competent, and efficient patient and family care within policies, procedures, and standards of care plan to the perioperative patient's level of complexity.
Schedule Information36 hrs/wk, Day/Evening, 12 hr shift, Monday- Friday variation of 6:30am-7pm with possible 9:40am-10pm every three weeks.Weekend and weekday call rotation every 5th week. Weekend call is Friday-Monday starting at 3pm on Friday.On-Call Requirement: Call response time is 45 minutes: 45 minutes from phone call to be dressed in scrubs and reporting to the charge nurse.
Additional DetailsTraveler's permanent address must be 50 miles from assigned primary work site location.Floating - Travelers are the first. The Traveler may have shifts scheduled in multiple units, depending on the current staffing needs and/or different locations within the organization. During the traveler's assignment, if the primary unit no longer has a need, shifts will be re-assigned to another unit in order to complete contract.Experience: Must have experience Cardiothoracic Surgery and/or Acuity Adaptable area (3 or above).Traveler must have completed two years of acute care experience within last 3 years.
