Contracts Manager

METECS is an engineering and applied technology company that provides high-fidelity simulation and software development for commercial customers in the agriculture, energy, construction, and sports marketing industries. Many of our solutions involve VR and AR technologies.

We are seeking a Contracts Manager who will perform contract administration, subcontract administration, cost estimating, financial reporting, and milestone monitoring in support of government and commercial contracts. We are looking for a self-motivated, high performing candidate with contracting and business management experience to oversee a team of two contract administrators.

Responsibilities:

Works with management to ensure company and project resources stay within budget

Supports program planning for contracts

Performs administrative management of contracts, including processing contract modifications, financial reporting, submission of deliverables, contract compliance activities, and audit support

Performs administrative management of subcontracts, including review of cost reports, invoices and other deliverables, and preparation of subcontracts, subcontract modifications, and work orders

Supports cost estimating and proposal activities

Provides management of government property

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in related field

7-10 years of experience in contract administration with NASA or other government entity. Will also consider other relevant experience

Intermediate to advanced MS Excel and Word Skills including experience with Macros

Strong prioritization, multi-tasking and organizational skills

Must be a team player with good interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills

Desired Qualifications:

NASA contract administration experience including familiarity with NASA’s Contractor Financial Management Report (Form 533)

Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Clauses (FAR) clauses

Experience with managing government property

Citizenship or lawful permanent residency required due to federal position.
