Your role at Clorox:


Sr. Financial Analyst represents integral part of S&A Finance Team supporting multiple businesses and Product Supply Organization. Individual will serve as a one of the key liaisons with the Procurement, Planning, Transportation and SBU teams to gather and integrate inputs for close and forecast while utilizing excellent analytical and communication skills to drive clarity and cross-functional alignment, build partnerships and influence decisions.


In this role, you will:




  • Support totaled delivered cost financial close and forecast process for multiple SBUs while partnering with cross-functional teams, such as Procurement, Transportation, Planning & SBU leadership, to drive financial reporting accuracy as well as effective decision making process across the organization.




  • Ensure monthly accounting close for owned accounts, including but not limited to purchase price variance, are performed in accordance with company accounting policies and procedures, Internal Control Compliance and GAAP.




  • Demonstrate excellent analytical and systems skills to translate financial results into business insights.




  • Act as an owner with clear focus on problem resolution and effective communication with the immediate team as well as cross-functional partners.




  • Actively lead, participate, and bring closure to continuous improvement projects (inbound freight process improvement, commodities and co-pack fees forecasting).




  • Support the annual standards setting process and training.




  • Support PP&L / Brand P&L development for all owned SBU’s.




  • Provide coaching to junior analysts with focus to build future generation of savvy financial professionals focused on Clorox values and delivering exceptional results.

What we look for:




  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP with 3+ years of relevant experience in finance and/or accounting




  • Strong knowledge of systems including SAP (R/3, BW, SEM) and Essbase




  • Excellent Microsoft office skills with special emphasis on Excel




  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills




  • Ability to work effectively in teams (both within Finance and cross-functionally)




  • Strong planning and organizing skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and self-manage workload to meet deadlines




  • Strong analytical and leadership skills. Self-starter who takes ownership of projects and tasks and ensures timely resolution

Your starting pay will depend on job-related factors, including relevant skills, knowledge, experience and location. The applicable salary range for every role in the U.S. is based on your work location and is aligned to one of three zones according to the cost of labor in your area.


–Zone A: $69,600 - $127,400


–Zone B: $63,800 - $116,800


–Zone C: $58,000 - $106,100

This job is also eligible for participation in Clorox’s incentive plans, subject to the terms of the applicable plan documents and policies.
