Overview

Edgewater Federal Solutions is seeking a Technical Support Analyst to support the IT program at a major national laboratory.

Responsibilities

Provides day-to-day technical support services, locally or remotely, to employees for network infrastructure and internal desktop systems software and hardware. Installs, configures and troubleshoots desktop, or mobile systems, workstations, and network issues in a heterogeneous environment. Tests and evaluates commercial and Laboratory developed software for quality control and proper operation. Maintains passwords, data integrity and file system security for the desktop environment. Communicates highly technical information to both technical and non-technical personnel. Recommends hardware and software solutions, including new acquisitions and upgrades. Please note: This position begins in a teleworking capacity. Within the first or second year, the role will transition to an onsite Field Team position to enhance division support services and advance the selected candidate's career. Qualifications

• High School Diploma and 1-2 years of relevant experience
• U.S. Citizenship is required per contract to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Energy Q clearance
• Able to work hybrid for 4-6 weeks for training and then 100% onsite in Los Alamos or Santa Fe thereafter.
• Customer service experience is desired
