About the Job: As a Planner/Buyer, you will coordinate planning and procurement for aerospace manufacturing projects, ensuring timely material availability, managing suppliers, and optimizing inventory.

Key Responsibilities:

• Production Planning:
• Maintain production schedules based on demand and capacity.
• Coordinate material availability with production teams.
• Ensure materials meet specifications with engineering and QA.
• Material Planning:
• Align schedules with demand forecasts.
• Optimize inventory levels to balance availability and costs.
• Procurement Management:
• Evaluate and negotiate with suppliers.
• Manage purchase orders and track deliveries.
• Supplier Management:
• Maintain and monitor supplier relationships and performance.
• Inventory Control:
• Implement control measures and conduct audits for accuracy.
• Continuous Improvement:
• Identify and implement process improvements.
• Stay informed on industry trends and advancements.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years in aerospace procurement or supply chain management.
• Knowledge of aerospace manufacturing processes.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Familiarity with aerospace regulatory requirements and Lean/Six Sigma methodologies.
