Job Description
Job Title: Solar Site Supervisor
Location: Upstate NY area
Duration: 6+ months
Pay Range: $50/hr, OT after 40
Work Schedule: 40-50 hours each week
Start Date: ASAP interviews and start.
Number of positions: 1
OVERVIEW:
Client is seeking qualified Site Supervisor with experience in Commercial solar projects that include rooftops, canopies, and ground mount systems.
This position will require a high level of traveling.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Oversight of daily Construction activities at the job siteWill be responsible for daily and weekly progress reportingCustomer interactions and conflict controlWill manage the construction schedule and will have some insight into change orders while working with the PMSubcontractor oversight and complianceIndependent work environment, no direct reports. Project team will consist of PM, CM, and interactions with the Safety Manager
REQUIREMENTS:
5+ years of experience managing the construction of commercial solar projectsStructural steel experience requiredElectrical experience a plusStrong Microsoft Office software skillsExperience with ProCoreElectrical solar system experience and understanding to communicate with general contractorsConfident in report writingAttention to detail
