Job Description

Title: Utility Project Manager
Salary: 125K to 145K
Location: Manchester, Maine
Duration: Permanent/Direct-Hire

Join our team as a Utility Project Manager (UPM) and lead exciting projects with flair! You’ll juggle schedules, budgets, and resources, ensuring client happiness while working closely with our VP of Transmission and Distribution.

What You’ll Do:
– Dive into contracts and proposals, sizing up project scope at pre-bid meetings.
– Help shape project schedules and budgets, while keeping everything on track.
– Manage field staff and keep timesheets in check.
– Ensure the team sticks to construction best practices.
– Keep a close eye on costs, adjusting as needed to stay within budget.
– Track contract statuses and handle change orders like a pro.
– Take on extra challenges as they come your way!

What You Bring:
– A Bachelor’s in Engineering, Construction Management, or similar.
– 7+ years of utility project management experience.
– A knack for deciphering contracts and client specs.
– Familiarity with project management software (like Accumatica).
– Understanding labor risks and scheduling hurdles.
– Experience with IBEW labor? Even better!
– Strong communication skills and a talent for multitasking under pressure.
