The Analyst position supports the Resident Services Division by managing and analyzing data to guide strategic and policy decisions. This role collaborates with program teams to develop data systems, enhance data literacy, assist with survey design, draft reports, and coordinate communication efforts. This position offers valuable experience in creating data processes that drive storytelling and improve outcomes through informed decision-making.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategic Planning & Research
  • Assists with data collection and prepares initial data summaries and reports to support the Manager in goal-setting processes.
  • Assists with preparing materials for goal-setting sessions, workgroups, and other initiatives as developed by the Manager.
  • Tracks progress on goals, updates metrics, and reports discrepancies to the Manager.
  • Organizes and maintains documentation, ensuring all strategy and goal-setting materials are up-to-date and accessible.
  • Supports the coordination, administration, and scheduling of quarterly meetings, including managing invitations, agendas, and logistics.
Data Analysis & Reporting
  • Conducts regular audits of data processes within Resident Services, identifying inefficiencies and proposing solutions for optimization.
  • Leads the design and development of data collection and reporting tools, ensuring they meet program and reporting requirements.
  • Manages recurring and ad hoc data requests, coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders to fulfill data needs.
  • Develops and maintains data dashboards and visualizations, presenting findings to program teams and leadership.
  • Provides data and information to internal departments to support external reporting requirements.
Communication & Collaboration
  • Supports the Manager in developing communication materials, assisting with drafting reports, presentations, and newsletters.
  • Coordinates logistics and administration for communication projects, managing schedules, meeting preparations, and follow-up actions.
  • Assists with content development and management for the Resident Services website and newsletter, ensuring information is current and aligned with strategic messaging.
  • Collects and organizes data and information for external partners and research collaborations.
  • Liaises with internal teams to gather necessary information for reports and communication materials, ensuring timely and accurate content delivery.
General
  • Supports multiple projects simultaneously and responds to change in a positive manner.
  • This position may be asked to handle tasks outside of job description to meet broader goals of CHA and Resident Services.
  • This position occasionally requires working hours outside of CHA's established hours of 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM Monday-Friday
  • This position is eligible for remote work up to two days per week following successful completion of onboarding with Resident Services.
  • Performs all other duties and projects as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
This position requires successful completion of a full 4-year course of study in an accredited college or university leading to a bachelor's or higher degree, or appropriate combination of education and experience. A minimum of two (2) years' experience is required in a non-profit, research, policy, or government-related capacity.

Data analysis experience, problem solving skills and strong desire to learn required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; experience with data analysis tools like R, STATA or SPSS is a plus. Strong organizational and communication skills to manage multiple tasks and interact with a diverse team. Must be self-directed, motivated, team oriented and able to work independently on complex and crucial projects.

This position requires effective communication skills both verbal and written and inter-personal skills to work with a diverse staff of managerial and professional employees to coordinate the completion of assignments and effectively communicate project deliverables. The employee must be able to exercise objective judgment and maintain confidentiality.

Salary Range: $70,000 - $73,000

Grade: S7

FLSA: Exempt
