Hays - Maintenance Electrician
Our client is looking for an electrician whose background is maintenance and is comfortable in a maintenance environment, working with members of the public. Successful candidates will preferably have experience as a maintenance electrician in residential as well as commercial properties.
Main requirements:
Your work schedule will be a standard Monday to Friday, 9-5. Your Hays recruitment consultant will be in touch regularly to respond to any queries or issues you may have and make sure you are kept up-to-date and informed.

Your new companyOur client is a reputable contractor committed to providing high-quality housing and maintenance services to council properties. We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced maintenance electrician to join our team on a permanent basis.
Your new role
Your responsibilities will include both the installation and maintenance of electrical works in both residential and commercial properties, including;
- Performing general electrical work, including fixing issues with existing electrical works.
- Installing new electrical works as required.
- Conducting routine inspections and maintenance of electrical works.
- Responding to emergency electrical issues promptly and efficiently.
- Ensuring all work is carried out in compliance with relevant health and safety regulations.

- Proven experience as a maintenance electrician
- Relevant electrician qualifications (18th Edition Wiring Regulations, ECS Card)
- Valid UK driving licence
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good time management and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship

Benefits:
- A per annum salary of £26,000 to £41,000 depending on experience and qualifications
