I am partnered exclusively with a high-profile main contractor, operating in the water industry, who are looking to appoint a Head of Operations to their business. My client has a strong pipeline of work in the water industry and, in this role, you will hold overall responsibility for the end-to-end delivery of all programmes of work. This is a permanent position based in the Midlands region (with the option for hybrid working).

Your new role
As Head of Operations you will be responsible for, but not limited to:Liaising with project management to ensure work is safely delivered to expected requirementsHolding accountability for the successful delivery of work within budgetsEngaging with clients, local authorities, subcontractors and other key project stakeholdersEnsuring programmes of work are defined, and risk management plans are in placeMonitoring financial performance and delivery against programmes of workEnsuring activities meet programme outputs and are completed to expected standards.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful, you must have:Proven successful experience of managing projects (Civil & MEICA) throughout the project lifecycle within the water industryWorking knowledge of NEC form of contractExperience in budget as well as profit and lossA strong understanding of programme delivery processesFinancial awareness and be able to work to budgets.
