R&D Engineer AI/ML Specialist - VFX/Gaming NEW US FDI... Visual FX/CGI /Entertainment tech industry - Belfast - maybe this is the role to come back home to? Ocho is excited to partner with an new US FDI who are looking for an experienced R&D Engineer AI/ML Specialist About the Role: Lead the development of animation diffusion models, utilizing existing animation libraries to create AI solutions for integration into production workflows. Explore opportunities to apply AI to completed projects, repurposing past work into innovative, AI-driven solutions. Design and refine machine learning models for image, video, and animation generation. Manage AI infrastructure on AWS, leveraging tools like Bedrock for LLMs, image, and video AI. Research and implement advanced generative AI techniques, focusing on diffusion models and related algorithms. Collaborate with teams to integrate AI solutions into production tools, enhancing automation and efficiency. Apply generative AI or traditional machine learning approaches based on project needs. Develop and validate proof-of-concept AI models for production use. Ideal candidate: 3+ years of AI/ML experience, ideally in animation, VFX, or creative industries. Expertise in animation diffusion models and generative AI for image, video, and animation. Skilled in utilizing animation libraries or similar datasets to train AI models. Proficient in AWS machine learning services, including Bedrock or similar platforms. Strong foundation in traditional machine learning and programming (Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras). Familiarity with LLM development and deployment is a plus. Proven R&D experience with a track record of independently driving research and delivering solutions.
