Vacancy Ref - JR1863Role: Assistant ManagerIndustry: Electrical WholesaleLocation - South West London / Surrey bordersWorking hours - Monday to Friday 6.30am to 5pm - no weekendsSalary - up to circa £35K + bonuses depending on experience
Do you have at least 3 years experience in the electrical wholesale industry?Are you looking for the opportunity to progress into a management role?
Rhodium Consulting is recruiting for an Assistant Manager with electrical wholesale experience to join a successful business in South West London / Surrey borders.You could be an ambitious internal sales person or someone with current supervisory experience.
Along with the Branch Manager you will be responsible for overseeing a team of staff as well as managing sales.
Responsibilities will include:
Establishing excellent working relationships with new and existing customersRegular telephone contact with customers to secure orders on productsAccount Management, Raising Quotations and processing of customer ordersProgressing queries by phone and emailProactively engaging with new and potential customersAssist with managing stock levels and ordering stock from manufacturers.Serving customers on the trade counter when requiredWork alongside the branch manager to ensure the smooth running of the business day to day.
Skills and experience required:
Current or very recent experience in a sales role in an electrical wholesalerEnjoys building good working relationships over timeReliable and committed working attitude with great organisational skillsA hard-working team player with excellent attention to detailA self-motivated, professional who understands the importance of getting the job done and responding to the customer as promised.A solid career history with experience of dealing with customers over the phone along with good electrical product knowledge.
Salary up to circa £35K + bonuses
