Class 1 Driver

We are currently looking for an experienced Class 1 driver for our customer based in Oldham (0L9 Postcode). This will be on a 13 week temp to perm. Immediate start! Please note, nights out will be required.

What we are looking for:

• Category C+E Entitlement.
• Full & Valid CPC.
• Full & Valid Digi.
• No more than 6 points.
• Excellent communication skills.

Duties will include but not limited to:

• Carrying out required daily vehicle checks to ensure procedural compliance.Completing paperwork accurately as instructed.
• Dealing with customers in a polite manner.
• There will be a regular requirement for overnight stays throughout the year.
• Youll be articulate and organised, with a good level of attention to detail and accuracy.

• Experience in the movement of Plant or Powered Access equipment with IPAF or ADR certification desirable. The company operates a mix of flat and step frame trailers, a vehicle mounted forklift license is also desirable. Training will be provided to the suitable candidate if the candidate does not hold this qualification.
• Youll be articulate and organised, with a good level of attention to detail and accuracy
• A strong commitment to and awareness of Health and Safety as youll be required to comply with H&S legislation and the customers health, safety and environmental policies and procedures.
• A flexible and adaptable approach as you will be required to travel extensively around the country with, regularly staying away from home.
