What will you be doing?
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to land, water, waste-water treatment, and hazardous/non-hazardous materials.
Act as the primary contact for environmental compliance issues.
Develop the environmental strategy and plan for sustaining environmental performance.
Support Operations with monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting as per PPC permits.
Coordinate the preparation, submission, and surrender of regulatory permits.
Collaborate with Operations to meet compliance monitoring requirements, including borehole monitoring.
Some travel with overnight stays to other sites may be required, and occasional overseas visits to Gibraltar and Singapore.
Where will you be doing it?
Our client, a specialist in fuel storage and distribution are looking for an additional Quantity Surveyor to join their Business Services Team to support the delivery of their tank farm project and potentially other Major Projects ensuring compliance and value for money in all commercial processes.
You will be based in their office near Torpoint with a hybrid working model available.
What will you need?
Ideally a recognised degree and/or time served experience as a Quantity Surveyor working on engineering projects.
Knowledge of NEC3 and NEC4 contracts.
Full UK driving licence & right to work in the UK without requiring sponsorship.
Part-time option also available in which case salary will be pro-rata.
