Our client is leading shopfitting and interior fit-out company based in the West Midlands, seeking an experienced Estimator to join their Commercial Department, and be part of a team that values quality and client satisfaction.
Your new role
As an Estimator, you will:
Perform cost analysis and estimation for projects.Ensure competitive pricing while covering all costs.Collaborate with clients, architects, and our contracts team.
Key ResponsibilitiesReport key aspects of estimating functions to Directors.Develop and maintain client accounts.Analyse job appraisals and report variances.Manage project costs from start to finish.Review contracts and assess risks.
ActivitiesAnalyse tenders and job specs.Calculate final project costs and present tender prices.Negotiate with sub-contractors for best value.Refine specifications for better production and cost efficiency.Maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders.
What you’ll need to succeed
Strong numerical and analytical skills.Experience in the construction industry.Excellent communication skills.Ability to plan ahead and manage multiple tasks.
