About the Role:
We are seeking reliable and hardworking Van Drivers to join our team to work for our well known client in Leyland for occasional weekend shifts, delivering supermarket goods to customers in a timely and efficient manner. This is a great opportunity for individuals looking for flexible, weekend-only work that fits around other commitments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive a company van to deliver supermarket orders to residential addresses.
• Ensure all deliveries are made on time and in excellent condition.
• Load and unload deliveries carefully to avoid damage.
• Follow delivery instructions and plan efficient routes.
• Provide excellent customer service, including clear communication with customers at delivery points.
• Maintain a clean and tidy van, reporting any maintenance or safety issues.
• Complete delivery paperwork and ensure all records are accurate.
• Adhere to all road safety regulations and company policies.

Key Requirements:

• A full, valid UK driving licence with a clean driving record.
• Previous van driving experience is preferred, but not essential.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with customers.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Must be physically fit to load/unload deliveries and handle items of varying weight.
• Flexible availability to work on weekends, with occasional shifts.

Desirable Skills:

• Experience in a delivery or logistics role.
• Familiarity with supermarket delivery systems or e-commerce logistics.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
