Norfolk Wildlife Trust are seeking an ICT Data Engineer to work as a key member of our ICT Team to provide the management, co-ordination and development of the Trust's data and systems.

We are seeking an ICT Data Engineer to work mainly on a project for a fixed term of 1 year as a key member of our ICT Team to provide the management, co-ordination and development of the Trust's data and systems, supporting teams across the Trust in cleansing existing data, and implementing new data structures.
You will be expected to lead in the management of data and data structures across the Trust, including the approach for archived information including hard copies of files. You will identify opportunities to improve systems, policies, processes and data quality, and manage projects to implement new solutions and tools to improve performance in collaboration with the relevant teams.
The ideal candidate will:
- have experience of maintaining data storage solutions and of managing and optimising data.
- have an understanding of, and experience with, Windows Server including systems infrastructure and its impact for data management and file sharing.
- have a high level of computer literacy with additional high competence in using Microsoft tools and software, especially SharePoint.
- be able to prepare ICT procedures and guidance for users and lead with the implementation and adoption by NWT users of NWT's ICT procedures regarding data management.
- have good communication skills.
A clear interest in and sympathy for nature conservation and the work of the NWT will be a distinct advantage.
The role is 5 days (35 hours) per week, however part-time hours or a variation to this working pattern will be considered for the right candidate.
