The successful Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Business Developmentwillfocus on developing new business opportunities and managing key accounts for mechanical engineering equipment such as mechanical seals, couplings, gaskets, sealing solutions and other rotating equipment related products across Scotland.


The successful Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager willideallyhave experience selling or servicing centrifugal pumps and or compressors with a strong technical understanding of high-speed rotating equipment.

Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager Role:

• Developing new business opportunities and managing key accounts for mechanical engineering equipment such as mechanical seals, couplings, gaskets, sealing solutions and other rotating equipment related products across Scotland.
• Maintaining mechanical seals, gaskets and couplings product and system sales with demonstration, exhibition, and negotiation to achieve targets.
• Responsible for pre-sales technical assistance as well as providing end solution / application support for all customer needs / requirements.
• Provide after-sales support services and provide technical back up as required to customers within a variety of industries such as oil & gas, chemical, power plant, food processing, mining and more
• Work remotely/ field-basedcovering Scotland with regular visits to customer sites.
• Liaise with various engineering departments.

Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager Requirements

• Experience as a Key Account Manager, Account Manager, Area Sales Manager, Sales Engineer, Business Development Manager, Technical Sales Engineer or similarwithin a mechanical engineering environment.
• Experience selling or servicing centrifugal pumps and or compressors with a strong technical understanding of high-speed rotating equipment
• Candidates with proven high speed rotating equipment sales experience in industries such as oil & gas, chemical, power plant, food processing, mining are strongly advised to apply.
• Full clean driving license.
• Willingness to operate remotely with travel to customer sites across Scotland.
