Mobilisation Manager - South

Mobilisation Manager - SouthUp to 41,000 per annum plus Company Car / Allowance
Your role will predominately be based in the South of the UK however, National travel will be required in line with business needs including overnight stays and weekend work.

We are looking for a Mobilisation Manager to join our B&I team. You will manage and deliver operational standards primarily on new business mobilisations, working alongside the dedicated Project Manager to deliver a planned, operationally exceptional mobilisation. You will plan and deliver team training, onboarding, systems implementation, and Compass processes delivery whilst working closely with other support teams to deliver these requirements and coordinate the timely delivery of mobilisations, refreshes and retention projects by priority status.
Key responsibilities include but not limited to:
  • Support the Project management team with the implementation of Compass systems into new locations.
  • To champion the use of the standard tools and processes for all Compass mobilisations.
  • Responsible for the setup, training and delivery of systems such as: Food Safety Management System, Health & Safety Compliance, Profit Protection, PCI compliance, Staff training and onboarding, Foodbuy Online Stocktaking, Ourtime (Time & attendance)
  • Coordinating planning, management and delivery (along with the project manager and central support teams) of contract mobilisations, refresh and retention in order of priority.
  • Responsible for ensuring that all mobilisations, refresh and rebids are delivered within timescale and to the approved Compass Standards. (Generally audit standards)
  • Act as an operational point of contact for the mobilisations, refresh and retention projects alongside the Project Manager.
  • Responsible for maintaining relations with Operations Teams, Project Managers, and central functions experts.
  • Pro-actively manage and highlight Mobilisation and retention risks and issues.
  • Monitor, collate and suggest improvements to the Mobilisation processes and practices and pro-actively help to encourage good practice.
  • Ensure successful handover to Operations at the end of the Mobilisation and revisit audit dates are set and adhered to.
  • Support and complete Revisit Audits / Standards reviews to ensure ongoing support and coaching.
  • Manage operational requirements in line with the Budgets of the project and company spending practices, supplier usage and retail standards.
About you:Essential:
  • Proven experience in operational roles; ideally new business and operational excellence.
  • Proven experience in a similar position and/ or a flair for food, people management and functional responsibility.
  • Passion for design, food and customer service.
  • Good commercial acumen.
  • Proven track record of being quality driven.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills.
  • Proven track record of interacting with and influencing a wide range of stakeholders, and building credibility
  • Good working knowledge of high street retail, food and eating out consumer trends.
  • Works well under pressure to deliver results
  • Contract catering experience.
  • A good understanding of IT systems and programmes

  • Proven experience as part of a successful mobilisation team
