About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior People Advisor to join the Societys People Team on an 18-month fixed term contract. The person in post will work proactively with our leaders to continually improve employee engagement and performance.
As an influential and trusted advisor to leaders across the business, the Senior People Advisor will look to improve leadership and management capability and will guide, coach and challenge leaders on best practice HR.
Managing multiple Employee Relation cases from inception to resolution, the person in post will provide professional and comprehensive ER guidance and support across the business.
The Senior People Advisor will also work closely with our People Partners and other People Advisors to support a varied client base to provide a full spectrum of HR advice and support. Other areas of focus will include the Talent and Engagement agenda and management of the Trade Union relationship.

About you
As a level 5 CIPD qualified professional, youll have significant generalist experience as well as proven demonstrable experience of managing complex ER cases from inception through to completion.
Youll be a natural and engaging communicator wholl look to engage, develop and maintain key relationships with stakeholders. Demonstrating commerciality and a good knowledge of key trends in the world of HR youll assert yourself with confidence and challenge senior leaders.
With a hands-on approach and exposure to the full HR life cycle youll have the ability to work in a fast paced environment with a flexible approach and be confident in handling multiple activities simultaneously.
