Chief Of Staff

Our client is a dynamic, highly commercial, rapidly expanding, market leadingprovider of a very worthwhile humanitarian service on the world stage. It is a VC-backed international operation with a growing nucleus of professional staff based at their Head Office, in Ross-on-Wye. In a new role, they now seek to appoint a capable and diligent Chief of Staff, reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, to take responsibility for the provision of management across all business support functions and for leading effective day-to-day inter-departmental coordination and cooperation across all key business functions in support of the functional heads.

The Chief of Staff will play a critical role in driving the development, implementation, maintenance of and adherence to relevant and effective business management processes across all functions and departments to ensure continuous improvement, business resilience and growth.

Required experience

• Minimum of 5 years relevant experience with a proven track record of leading teams and departments delivering similar services.
• Must have experience working with government agencies and IGOs, humanitarian organizations and commercial companies operating internationally;
• Must have experience working within a project-based organization delivering services in complex and high-risk environments.
• Must have experience of P&L Management, Cost-control and cost model / pricing development.
• Military experience is highly desirable.
