Science Teacher Job, pay £160-260 a day (MPS/UPS), January 2025 start, 1 term
We are working in partnership with a Secondary school in Wolverhampton who are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Science Teacher to join their team in January 2025. This is a full-time and long-term role for the term with the potential of going permanent.
You will have an opportunity to work in a community-led, inclusive Secondary School in Wolverhampton, who have excellent and supportive SLT and HOD.
They have brilliant facilities, great staff morale and have recently received a 'Good' in their latest Ofsted report.
Due to this being a long-term role, full teaching responsibilities will be required, including planning and marking. You must be a qualified teacher (ECTs are welcome to apply) and have recent experience teaching Science at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.

Your new role
- Delivering engaging and creative Science lessons to students in Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Planning and preparing schemes of work, lesson plans, and assessments.
- Monitoring student progress and providing feedback.
- Contributing to the development of the department’s curriculum.
- Participating in extracurricular activities such as sports clubs and school trips.
What you'll need to succeed
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. ECT's welcome to apply.
- Bachelor's degree in Science or related field.
- Recent experience teaching Science at secondary school level.
- Strong behaviour/classroom management.
- The ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and staff members.
