Railway Electrician

Are you looking for an exciting new contracting role as a Railway Electrician? My client is looking for an experienced individual to support on the Anglia route.

What are we looking for?

You will Provide support to the Team Leader to organise and motivate the team so that work is undertaken safely, efficiently and to the relevant standards. Undertake inspection, faulting, maintenance and renewal work as allocated. Where directed, act as Team Leader.

Responsibilities

• Carry out work safely and in accordance with the safe systems of work procedures,
• Undertake and direct work activities against Network Rail standards.
• Control and check the quality of work
• Check that the staff under your control have the appropriate and valid competencies.

Essential Skills

• Experience of implementing safe systems of work.
• How to organise and control the safety of delivering packages of works.
• To demonstrate safe working behaviours within the team.
• Able to lead and motivate a team.
• Knowledge of distribution and plant inspection, faulting, maintenance and renewal techniques.

Must Have Competencies

• COSS Ticket
• 18th Edition Electrician
• PC - Protection Controller
• PTS
• Level C
• Lockout Ticket
• Statutory /inspections
• First Aid Trained
• Plasma Training
• IPAF

This is a 6 month rolling contract, Inside IR35, and you will be working nights Monday to Friday
