Job Description

The staff restaurant at Frasers Head office caters for over 1000 meals per day spread over breakfast through to evening meal. The catering team will need to deliver a high level of customer service and be able to work efficiently. The restaurant his a wide variety of food, drinks and confectionary available, the catering team are responsible for ensuring that all shelves and refrigerated cabinets are fully stocked ready for service. The catering team will also be required to maintain high levels of cleanliness and ensure that the front of house areas are clean and tidy.

  • Working front of house, serving customers and using the tills for cash and card payments
  • Serving the customers and replenishing stock
  • Always work safely and follow all food related legal requirements, and manual handling
  • Stock is kept secured and stock levels are monitored for both food and other consumables
  • Front of house and service area is kept clean and ensure that the service areas and catering equipment are clean and ready to use throughout the shift.

Hours: Zero hours contract (varied hours per week depending on needs of the team)

Rate of pay: 11.44 p/h

Working days: earliest start time 7:00am latest finish 20:30pm

Rotas are completed 4 weeks in advance and there will be a combination of midweek and weekends on a rota basis.


Qualifications

  • Experience in customer care
  • cash handling and numerical skills
  • Good organisation skills
  • Able to manage and move deliveries (manual handling)
  • Good communication skills
  • Good knowledge of food hygiene and food safety
