Interim Financial Accountant



Large construction company seeking a financial accountant to cover the year-end cycle from Mid-Dec to the end of May.



£350 - 450 day rate



Watford

Hybrid



Own the preparation of the year-end financial statements for non-trading entities

Work closely with internal stakeholders to meet reporting deadlines

Liaise with the Group Tax manager to ensure tax disclosures are accurately reflected in the financial statements

Work collaboratively with the Group auditors on the audit of the financial statements with the aim to achieve signing by 30 April.

Close out and document any audit issue that arises.

Support the Group Reporting team with ad-hoc requests associated with the audit of the consolidated Group or internal reporting to the Head Office as required.

Professional accounting qualification, e. ACA or ACCA

Experience of financial reporting and statutory accounts preparation

Experience of dealing with auditors and resolving audit queries

Demonstrable ability to form effective working relationships with multiple stakeholders

Detailed and analytical self-starter, proactive approach Knowledge of IFRS, FRS101 and FRS102
