Job Description
Our client is a highly successful renewable energy company, which is part of a larger construction group. They are currently looking to build out the team to help manage the growth in sites and assets. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in the management and optimisation of our extensive portfolio of wind turbines and battery substations. Your primary responsibilities will include overseeing maintenance operations, monitoring performance, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The Job: Lead and coordinate maintenance activities for a portfolio of wind turbines, prioritising reliability, efficiency, and safety. Implement robust performance monitoring systems to optimise energy production and minimize downtime. Oversee the delivery of diverse renewable energy projects, ensure projects are executed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Conduct comprehensive technical assessments, including visual impact, noise, shadow flicker, radar, fallover, yield, and environmental impact studies, to inform strategic decision-making. Manage Ofgem compliance, handle audits, data queries, and submissions. Coordinate ROCs and REGOs claims to ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements. Conduct on-site inspections of wind turbine sites when necessary to assess site conditions, equipment health, and compliance with H&S standards. Prepare detailed reports on asset performance, maintenance activities, project progress, and key performance indicators. Analyse data to identify trends, optimise operations, and inform strategic decisions. Effectively communicate with a diverse range of stakeholders, including asset owners, subcontractors, and regulatory authorities. Build strong relationships and foster collaboration to achieve project objectives. The Person: Project Management skills with a high degree of personal organisation and discipline Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret technical data. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in relevant software tools and systems. A valid driver's license.
