What the Job Involves

The role is responsible for ensuring the safety, health, and condition of council-owned dwellings by identifying defects and managing repair works within the set budget and timeline. It involves planning and overseeing capital works from start to finish, including the preparation and procurement processes. You will manage contractors responsible for inspection, renovation, and maintenance of the properties. Additionally, the position requires you to conduct property surveys, diagnose repair issues, and generate reports and strategies for specific subjects. You will also perform desktop diagnoses of customer repair inquiries to streamline operations and minimize on-site inspections.
