The Sustainability and Supply Chain Services team helps clients integrate Health and Safety practices and culture into their core business strategy; enterprise risk management; operations and supply chains acting as a trusted third party delivering a full suite of risk management and advisory services.
As a Senior Consultant, you will help our clients increase their safety and environmental performance, ensure sustainable development and improve their financial performance. You will perform HSE management advisory, risk assessment, HSE audits (with a consulting perspective, this is not certification audits), and train client personnel to provide them added value.
Ideally you possess a track record and technical skills in helping clients to integrate safety, sustainability and compliance performance (both regulated and non-regulated) into their core business, enterprise risk management, operations, value chains and products.
You will get the opportunity to work on projects across a number of domains, and expertise is required in at least two (ideally more) of the following: EHS risk analysis, occupational Health and Safety training, environmental risk analysis, process safety management, definition and implementation of action plans aimed at establishing a health and safety culture based on best practices.
The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise and advanced risk assessments with management consulting skills and pull on a cross-disciplinary team of highly qualified engineers and regulatory experts to deliver value-adding services to our clients.
The role requires a considerable focus and track record spent in the field onsite at production and administrative locations and followingly readiness to travel. Project and site review in France and internationally as we shape and accompany our clients’ global programs can be expected.

We are growing our French team, and we work closely with our global DNV teams globally.
Key Accountabilities:
- Contributing to the broader sales and delivery efforts across all services: EHS advisory, occupational Health and safety audits, organizational and technical diagnosis, training, definition and support of our clients for the implementation of action plans.
- You will be expected to play a key role in delivery including:
- Contributing to the broader sales and delivery efforts for EHS services and ideally wider range of ESG topics (Sustainability services - both regulated and non-regulated, Experience with leading reporting and assurance standards, Human rights and social performance, Supply chain of custody and traceability)
- Project manage and lead deliveries of projects on the field and through remote work
- Supporting project teams deliver to clients’ expectations, goals and target outcomes, on time, on budget and to DNV quality standards
- Working with existing and potential clients to help establish their individual needs, identifying and recommending appropriate solutions tapping into DNV capability across the wider group
- Promote a culture of technical excellence across all aspects of delivery

Position Qualifications:
- Good understanding of, and experience from, operational HSE issues in the process industry, chemical or pharmaceutical industry, construction/ civil engineering.
- You have knowledge of relevant laws and regulations, including contract standards in France and European regulation (ATEX, Reach, ICPE, etc).
- Minimum 7 years of relevant experience with HSE and risk management, including management systems development and incident investigations.
- An experienced consultant and able to also facilitate workshops/processes with client teams.
- Fluent in French and English (written and spoken) - to provide consulting and perform audits for the customers. Any additional language is a plus.
- Good communication and writing skills.
- Knowledge of ISO standards (14 001, 45001), process safety management, and equivalent.
- Auditor experience (with an advisory mindset).
- Flexibility to travel and work on-site at client's office.
- University degree (Master degree or equivalent).
