Job Description

Role Overview:

The Associate Director of Market Access for Inline Assets will be responsible for implementing market access strategies for CSL Behring inline assets within a specific Therapeutic Area (TA). This role focuses on maximizing the asset's value throughout its life cycle by securing and optimizing product pricing and reimbursement. The position requires deep expertise in the payer environment within key international markets and/or relevant country level and a hands-on approach to executing market access strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Market Access Strategy: Develop and implement market access strategies for the assigned TA, ensuring alignment with broader organizational goals.
  • Collaborate with Cross-functional Teams: Work closely with Medical Affairs, Marketing, and other partner functions to integrate market access considerations into the brand strategy and ensure effective execution.
  • Market Access Deliverables: Manage and deliver key market access outputs during the inline phase, including the preparation, submission and renewals of P&R and HTA dossiers.
  • Payer Environment Monitoring: Stay informed on payer regulations, and economic data within the assigned TA. Identify opportunities and risks, develop proactive plans to address them.
  • Global Value Dossier Development: Accountable for the development and periodic updates of the Global Value Dossier, supporting affiliate P&R and HTA submissions.
  • Support Country Teams: Provide guidance and support to country teams during P&R and HTA submissions, negotiations, and authority interactions, ensuring alignment with global strategies.
  • Optimize Payer Value Propositions: Develop and refine payer value propositions and health economic models to clearly communicate the clinical and economic value of inline assets to payers and other key stakeholders.
  • Lifecycle Management: Support the ongoing development of lifecycle payer evidence and the optimization of pricing strategies to maintain and enhance P&R throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Market Insights for Planning: Provide market access insights to support forecasting and long-range planning, including analysis of key payer policy changes and risk assessments.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: At least 8 years of experience in market access, with significant exposure to healthcare systems in international markets.
  • Track Record: Demonstrated success in securing and optimizing pricing, reimbursement, and patient access in the responsible therapeutic area.
  • Knowledge: Extensive understanding of healthcare systems, payer landscapes, and market access dynamics in the diverse international markets.
  • Collaboration: Proven ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams, with strong communication and influencing skills.
  • Education: An advanced degree in Health Economics, Public Health, or a related field is required.
