Role Overview:
In this role, you will be responsible for both mechanical and electrical maintenance across high-speed automated equipment and production systems. Key tasks include preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and assisting with our facility’s upcoming transition. You will work closely with production teams to enhance operational efficiency and drive continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain machinery, building infrastructure, and utility equipment to required standards.
Conduct proactive maintenance and support to minimize downtime.
Assist with facility transition and equipment installation alongside external contractors.
Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical/electrical issues promptly.
Ensure compliance with Health and Safety and Food Safety standards.
Qualifications and Skills:
Experience in both electrical and mechanical engineering.
HNC in Engineering (preferred but not desired)
Electrical qualifications (NVQ Level 3/18th Edition) - not desirable
FMCG or food manufacturing experience is desirable.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
