CLASS 1 TRAMPER

WORKING 5 DAYS OUT OF 7: STARTS

£15.50 - £19.50 PER HOUR

People Solutions are recruiting Class 1 Trampers for a well-established client based at their depot in Goole.

This is a 24/7 operation so availability to work weekends is ideal.

This role may become permanent for the right candidate.

Rates of Pay:

• Monday to Friday days £15.50 per hour
• Monday to Friday nights £17.50 per hour
• Saturday £18.50 per hour
• Sunday £19.50 per hour
• £25.00 per night out

Day to Day Duties

• Drive Class 1 vehicles safely and efficiently
• Follow company policies and procedures
• Comply with driving rules and regulations
• Positive 'can do' attitude
• Occasional manual tip may be required
• Curtain-side work
• Strapping loads correctly
• Trunk runs
• Tramping work

Essential Skills

• Hold a valid UK Category CE Driving Licence
• Hold UK CPC and UK Digital Tachograph Card
• Have a minimum of 12 months experience driving CE vehicles
• Maximum of six penalty points with no major endorsement codes
• Work in a professional manner
• Excellent communication skills

Desirable Experience

• Experience working on a general haulage contract is desired but not essential

Training

• Driving assessment and written assessment may be required
