Location: Cumbria - CA20
Hours: Monday to Friday 8am-5pm
Pay: Up to £60,000 per annum
Duties
The duties/responsibilities listed above describe the post as it is at present and is not intended to be exhaustive. The Job holder is expected to accept reasonable alterations and additional tasks of a similar level that may be necessary.
Has commercial and contracts experience and demonstrable track record of owning and delivering pre and post contract activity, including:
• Analysing/managing risk, including assessing revenue opportunity V cost & Risk
• Managing the commercial viability of variations
• Negotiations for multiple disciplines including supplier negotiations & s/c flow-downs
• Base knowledge of contract law and its application in services and construction
• Assist in Modelling and testing contractual KPIs and Payment Mechanisms
• Sound financial acumen ( P&L) Extensive understanding of financial modelling, contract pricing and differing pricing models
• Produce reports and summaries (ad hoc and regular) which can articulate key matters for a senior and/or non-commercial audience
• Support in defining, driving and overseeing commercial & contract governance
• The requirement to ensure full commercial governance to all subcontractors/suppliers
• The ability to manage CVR ( Cost/Value reports) reporting for projects and Core Services TFM works.
• Supporting the identification, management and mitigation of risks at all levels associated with bidding new contracts..
• Ensure all functions comply with regard Mitie Governance process within the contracts and DLAs (Delegated level of Authority )
Qualifications & Experience
Educated to degree level (or appropriate equivalent experience)
Demonstrate a background of effective commercial and supply chain development and management within a regulated environment
Extensive change control experience within FM or Construction based contracts
A minimum of 5 years' experience in integrated facilities management or construction related contracts.
Experience within NEC forms/MSA bespoke Terms and CCS (Crown Commercial Services)
Strong Client and Customer focus
