SEND Teaching Assistant

Location: Peckham & Surrounding Areas
Position: Full-Time & Part-Time Supply
We're seeking exceptional SEND Teaching Assistants in Southwark, London, who have experience supporting students with special educational needs. If you are enthusiastic, hands-on, and passionate about working with students with autism, ADHD, PMLD, speech and language difficulties, and social, emotional, and behavioral challenges, this role could be a great fit for you. Requirements:
Genuine passion, enthusiasm, and dedication to working within SEND education settings
Proactive approach and a commitment to engaging with students and staff
Experience or a strong understanding of supporting students with SEND, including autism, PMLD, or other disabilities
Background in education or care, supporting either children or adults
Ability to contribute meaningfully to students' learning journeysJob Responsibilities:
Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with SEND
Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and staff to implement personalized learning plans
Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
Assist with classroom activities, personal care (if needed), and behavior management
