Sales and Service Operator / ADR Class 2 Driver

Pertemps are working in partnership with BOC, a leading provider of industrial, medical and special gases to provide a Sales and Service Operator / Driver for Class 2 Cryospeed (liquid gas) tanker work

• Based in Bristol, BS4
• £22.80 per hour PAYE
• £28.66 per hour nights
• Call out payment, Weekend allowance and Bank Holiday allowance on top of hourly rate
• You will be required to travel and work from other locations, which will include weekend travel and weeks away from home.
• 9 month FTC

About the role

• Organizing and scheduling daily cryogenic deliveries in compliance with applicable ADR and all relevant regulations and standards
• Managing assigned territories (Bristol, Cardiff, Plymouth), cover and achieve targeted sales is required
• The development of new business through contract negotiations and the identification of potential sales opportunities is part of your task
• You will conduct site inspections to ensure proper and safe operation of the equipment
• Identifying threats to existing business and assimilate other competitive information
• Ensuring maintenance work in cooperation with the responsible department

The right candidate

• Prior experience as a class 2 tanker driver
• UK Class C driver's license (LGV) held for at least three years, with no more than three penalty points and DCPC
• Qualified with ADR class 2 in tanks
• A self-motivated person with the ability to plan and manage customer deliveries and achieve agreed targets
• Good customer and inter-personal skills
