Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
* Serve as the technical interface to customers and subcontractors.
* Capture, derive, and manage engineering requirements.
* Develop innovative solutions and analyze system performance.
* Oversee engineering disciplines during design, integration, and testing.
* Plan and conduct test campaigns, troubleshoot hardware/software, and analyze test data.
* Ensure flight equipment meets customer requirements and document the process.
Essential Qualifications:
* 2+ years of experience in the design, manufacture, and testing of complex systems.
* Experience with optics, optical sensors, and opto-mechanical assemblies.
* Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
* Familiarity with formal configuration control and environmental testing.
Desirable Skills:
* Experience with Zemax, OpticStudio, or similar software.
* Familiarity with ECSS standards and space environments.
* Programming skills in Python, Visual Basic, MATLAB/C, or C++.
* Hands-on experience with manufacturing, assembly, and testing.
Personal Attributes:
* Passionate about space exploration and solving complex challenges.
* Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
* A collaborative team player who shares knowledge proactively.
* Flexible and adaptable to changing business needs.
* Willing to travel for project delivery and able to meet deadlines.
