Joinery CAD Designer
We are currently working with a leading joinery and furniture manufacture contractor working in the Leisure, Commercial & Residential Sectors who are looking for a Designer/ CAD Technician to join their established and growing technical team.
Key Responsibilities
The role involves designing, drawing, and producing manufacturing drawings for joinery and fitted furniture.
Key Skills and Requirements
• As a Designer, you will have sound understanding of how things are put together, what materials to use and fixings required, with an ability to draw in 3D as well as create flat patterns where required.
• AutoCAD or SolidWorks, is a must, you will ideally also be able to use photoshop and have strong Microsoft office skills.
• Previous experience in furniture design is required although a background in product design could be considered, and having construction environment experience would be highly advantageous.
• You will have excellent communication skills both written and verbal, be self-motivated, flexible, with the ability to work accurately on an independent basis always giving attention to detail.
• The successful candidate will have a positive attitude and work ethic with the ability to develop ongoing relationships.
