Teacher of Religious Studies

We are seeking a passionate educator who can inspire students across KS3, KS4, and ideally KS5, working with pupils of varying abilities.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop, plan, and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons to students across all key stages.
Inspire and motivate students, fostering a love for Religious Studies and achieving high academic outcomes.
Set high expectations for pupils, deepening their knowledge and understanding while promoting achievement.
Systematically assess student work and use outcomes to inform future teaching and curriculum development.The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Experience teaching Religious Studies at Key Stages 3 and 4 (experience with KS5 is highly desirable).
A strong understanding of the Religious Studies curriculum and behavior management strategies.
A commitment to inclusive education and the ability to adapt to a multicultural, diverse learning environment.
Resilience, creativity, and enthusiasm for delivering exceptional learning experiences.
Excellent communication and team-working skills.
A dedication to the school's vision, values, and teaching methodology.Job Details:
Start Date: January 2025
Salary: AST 1-12 (£31,756-£49,544) dependent on experience, plus a £3,391 responsibility allowance for experienced candidates.
