Job Description
Westlakes Recruit are currently recruiting for an experienced Planners to be engaged on a permanent basis within the UK Defence sector. Candidates will ideally be based in Glasgow.
As a Planning Engineer, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. Working on the latest cutting-edge technology for the UK Defence sector.
Day-to-day, you'll identify the maintenance data and work required for the future project maintenance periods.
Resolve any planning and scheduling ambiguities within these activities.
Provide regular liaison with a variety of stakeholders to ensure accuracy and achievement of the required quality.
Build the indicative planning schedule (key date schedule) for the maintenance work activitiesEssential Experience
Experience working as a Planning Engineer on complex engineering projects OR experience as a mechanical or electrical engineer.
Understanding of relevant systems such as P6 or Microsoft project.Qualifications
Ideally hold an HNC or HND, although this is not essential.Security Clearance
